Although Catholic School students routinely outperform other schools on standardized tests it is not the only measure of learning (capenet.org). Navigating our modern world requires classical thinking skills more than ever. While other schools reach too early for technology or fads we will awaken the proven modality of classical education that fosters the child’s ability to be critical thinkers, literate evaluators, ethical problem solvers, and socially responsible global citizens. Through a rigorous curriculum, Catholic schools have long proven to offer all students the best opportunity at long term academic success (Grogger and Neal 2000).
We will partner with parents to form disciples of Jesus Christ who can cut through cultural forces and pursue the good, the beautiful, and the true as they live their faith in the world. The standards of academic excellence, parental involvement, and faith promoted by our schools not only help raise up the next generation of faith-filled citizens but also positively impact the community they are located in. Furthermore, Catholic Schools contribute to better communities, more engaged citizenship, and more successful graduates (Campbell, Wolf 2001; Bining, Garnett 2009; Wile 2012).
